FCL Imports: AUp to 12 pm – Presenting all documents and proof of payment.
LCL imports: Up to 1 pm – Presenting all documents and proof of payment.
Collecting Cleared HBLs: From 4 pm, provided all documentation has been submitted within permitted hours.

Clearance Documents Required

For import authorization, the following documents must be delivered to our offices or our representatives:

  • Original B/L (01 copy) – Collect or Prepaid Shipping
  • Commercial Invoice (02 copies) – Collect Shipping
  • SISCOMEX Terms (02 copies) – Collect Shipping
  • Container Liability Form – 02 copies – FCL shipments) Collect/Prepaid Shipping
  • 01 copy of the power of attorney held by the importer’s representative
  • Proof of deposit (01 copy) – Collect/Prepaid Shipping

Instructions for correctly filling out forms

1. Container Declaration:

  1. 1) Issued on the company’s headed note paper, submitting two copies containing: the vessel, trip, unloading (Master B/L (shipper) and House B/L being released.
  2. 2) IMPORTER/CONSIGNEE – All information must be filled out: Importer’s company name as provided on the deconsolidated Merchant CE, contact name, telephone, email, fax;
  3. 3) SHIPPING/CLEARANCE AGENCT – All information must be filled out, including contact name, telephone number, email, fax;
  4. 4) CONTAINER – cargo unit type and number;
  5. 5) SIGNATURE – The statement must be signed by the legal representative authorized by a valid power of attorney (a copy of the power of attorney is required)

2. SISCOMEX Terms:

  1. 1) Issued on the company’s headed note paper, submitting two copies containing: the vessel, trip, entry, House B/L being cleared, port;
  2. 2) IMPORTER/CONSIGNEE – All information must be filled out: Importer’s company name as per the deconsolidated CE Merchant, goods, shipping value, billing document number, total goods value, NCM, Incoterms (FOB, CIF, FAX, EXW) and automatic license.
  3. 3) SIGNATURE – The statement must be signed by the legal representative authorized by a valid power of attorney; Following the Brazilian Internal Revenue Service’s publication of Normative Instruction 1356, from 01.06.13 the company will request presentation of an original copy of the Bill of Lading and other documents required for clearance.
