UPS prohibits trucks from turning left and saves millions
Since 2004, UPS drivers have been following a kind of mantra, never turning left in traffic (or right in countries where the hand is on the left). This is because it takes longer to wait for the traffic light or the reduction of vehicle traffic, and even increases the risk of collision. The company says that the measure has saved fuel (38 million liters, since the implementation) and deliver 350 thousand packages more.
